ENVELOPE will organize two rounds of open calls to select sub-projects for the roll-out of 3rd party experiments on ENVELOPE experimental infrastructure. A total of € 2.700.000 will be provided in the form of lump sum funding of up to €300.000 with max €60.000 per beneficiary.
Proposals should target to:
i) demonstrate the reusability of the ENVELOPE developed features by third party stakeholders and potentially other verticals, and/or
ii) extend the provided infrastructure for experimentation as a service with additional functionalities, potentially tailored to the needs of other verticals/industries.
FSTP (Financial Support for Third Parties) recipients: Beneficiaries must be consortia composed of SMEs, large industry (in the second round), research institutes and universities (at least 50% of the consortium members must be SMEs) from EU member states or associated countries to Horizon Europe. Each consortium must consist of 5 legal beneficiaries maximum.
All applicants should provide their Participant Identification Code (PIC), which is a 9-digit number that serves as a unique identifier for legal entities participating in European funding programmes.
Number of proposals to be accepted:
At least 9 sub-projects are to be selected depending on their size.
Countries: EU member State and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) and Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
Duration of sub-project: 6 months
Budget: €2,700,000 (€300,000 per project with maximum of €60,000 per beneficiary). In the first open call, the total budget available for grants is €1,350,000. The remaining budget will be allocated to projects funded under Open Call 2.
