ENVELOPE is running its 1st Open Call to fund projects aiming to enable the development and integration of a Beyond 5G/6G network infrastructure made available for testing and validating services/ applications as well as Integrate advances into the infrastructure services. These technologies and pilots although focused on the CAM vertical, the resulting developments will be reusable by any vertical.
ENVELOPE aims to establish an external pool of experts to support the project in the evaluation of the applications submitted to this open call. The pool of experts established through this Expression of Interest (EoI) will consist of individuals with knowledge in 5G/6G infrastructure and technology solutions/ applications addressed within the project. Experts will be selected through an open process to ensure independence and transparency in the evaluation of the applications submitted to the ENVELOPE open call.

*Evaluators selected will be reimbursed for their time and effort based on the number of applications evaluated (minimum number to be agreed).
ENVELOPE is looking for experts with knowledge in business and scaling, as well as a demonstrated understanding of 5G/6G infrastructure, verticals and technology solutions/ applications
Experts will be evaluated based on their professional experience and expertise in the aforementioned areas, as well as previous experience in evaluating proposals submitted to EU and FSTP programmes.
The services required will be provided remotely and will involve the evaluation and participation in selection of applications submitted to the ENVELOPE Open Call #1.
The evaluation process consists of the evaluation of several proposals, participation in consensus meetings and validation of evaluation reports.
Evaluators selected to participate in the evaluation will be required to sign a non-conflict of interest declaration and a contract with the ENVELOPE project, before being accepted to evaluate any application.
Please note that this expression of interest to participate in the ENVELOPE Open Calls evaluation as an external expert is NOT binding and does NOT represent any commitment to the ENVELOPE project.
The selection of the experts to support the evaluation of the ENVELOPE Open Call #1 will be carried out at a later stage as it depends on the number of applications received, their origin and the domains that they address. The selection will also consider the origin of the experts, their affiliations, their expertise and the balance between various criteria (e.g., gender, background, affiliation type, expertise, etc.).
