Connecting Europe Days 2024: Spotlight on the ENVELOPE Project

Connecting Europe Days 2024, Europe’s premier mobility event, took place from 2-5 April at the SQUARE in Brussels, Belgium. The conference brought together over 3,200 delegates from more than 80 countries, including Ministers, politicians, financial institutions, industry representatives, transport stakeholders, and officials from the European Commission and related agencies.

Key discussions focused on implementing tangible measures and sharing best practices to create a sustainable, smart, and resilient transport and mobility network across Europe. The event also reviewed the ambitious objectives outlined in the EU Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.

Among the many exhibitors, the ENVELOPE Project took centre stage at Booth #38, presented by I-SENSE Group/ICCS to showcase its revolutionising 5G architecture to support vertical services with large-scale Beyond 5G (B5G) trial sites in Italy, the Netherlands, and Greece.

Other notable projects showcased included the EVENTS Project, addressing the complex challenges of connected and automated vehicle (CAV) operations, and the PoDIUM Project, which aims to enhance trust, sustainability, and resilience in transportation systems through accelerated implementation of Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) technology.
